COLLABORATION
Colm Mac Rory, Managing Director of Spires Art, approached me following a presentation at the Global Hospitality talk at Raffles London, to create a series of Artworks. The inspiration was following a discussion on Feng Shui and Wellbeing in Hospitality and residential properties. With collaboration we created a series of Artworks based on my 40 years knowledge of Feng shui and Interior design.
Produced in a number of sizes and finishes these limited-edition artworks can enhance a location with both beauty, creativity and energy. These individual artworks are created for specific locations and the colour range works in any décor and designer style. Working with the powerful Five Element theory of a 7000 year old energy and healing system, every artwork resonates with an invisible force you can only benefit from. NORTH | EAST | SOUTH | WEST
NORTH
The North is designated as the Career sector and the element is water. The main colours are blue and black with waves and circular shapes, squares and rectangles. Additional metal colours: greys, golds whites etc. add strength to the water element. To then slightly hold back the water and weaken it, a small amount of earth/wood colours: yellows, beige, brown and greens can be used. This overall design is perfectly balanced for the North sector of a home, office or room.
NORTH EAST
The North East is designated as the Education and Knowledge sector and the element is small earth. The main colours are light earth, light yellows, browns and beige, with square shapes, some rectangles and small triangular flame symbols. Additional fire colours: reds, orange and any hot colours will add strength to the earth. To then slightly hold back the earth and weaken it, water, metal and wood colours and shapes are added. This overall design is perfectly balanced for the North East sector of a home, office or room.
EAST
The East is designated as the Family and Health sector and the element is Wood. The main colours are strong green and brown, with rectangles, waves and square shapes. Additional colours adding to wood will be water colours: blues and blacks. To control wood and weaken it metal and fire colours: wood, greens and reds can also be used. This overall design is perfectly balanced for the East sector of a home, office or room.
SOUTH EAST
The South East is the designated Wealth and Prosperity sector, and the main element is light wood. The main colours are light greens with rectangles, squares, waves and round shapes. Additional colours adding strength to Wood will be water colours: blue and blacks. To then slightly weaken wood, earth, fire and metal colours can be included. This overall design is perfectly balanced for the South East sector of a home, office or room.
SOUTH
The South is designated as the Recognition and Fame sector, and the element is Fire. The main colours are reds, oranges and strong warm colours with triangles, sharp shapes, waves, squares and rectangles. Additional colours adding strength to fire will be woods, dark and light greens. To then slightly hold back Fire: water colours blue and blacks, earthy browns can be included. This overall design is perfectly balanced for the South sector of a home, office or room.
SOUTH WEST
The South West is designated as the Marriage and Romance sector. The main colours are strong earth, Yellows and Browns with triangles, rectangles and round shapes. Additional colours adding strength to earth will be fire colours of reds and orange. Additionally, a small amount of wood to feed the fire creating earth. To then slightly hold back the earth and weaken it: greys, golds, whites. This overall design is perfectly balanced for the south west sector of a home, office or room.
WEST
The West is designated as the Children sector. The main colours are light metals, gold, silvers, greys, whites, with round, square and small triangular shapes. Additional colours adding strength to metal will be Earth and a very small amount of red/fire which creates Earth. To then slightly hold back the Metal and weaken it, a strong Red. This overall design is perfectly balanced for the west sector of a home, office or room.
NORTH WEST
The North West is designated as the Mentors and Networking sector. The main colours are strong metallic dark greys, golds and whites with small round, waves, squares and triangle shapes. Additional colours adding strength to metal colours: yellows, orange. To then slightly hold back the Metal some fire colours: reds and orange to drain and weaken it. This overall design is perfectly balanced for the north west sector of a home, office or room.
