Lighting Your Home

Whether building a new home or doing major renovation work, NSI plan and make provision for the lighting at an early stage often having to work with existing fixtures but with strategic planning and the use of innovative products we produce timeless lighting designs.

NSI understands what their clients want from each room and consideration is always given to who will be using the room and how accent lighting together with direct lighting can be used to give the desired result.

NSI introduce a combination of lighting circuits that work together or independently to produce a design that improves the flow from room to room and adds the flexibility to adjust the lighting to suit different moods and occasions.

NSI’s approach to a successful kitchen scheme is to layer the effect of different lighting and try to zone the lighting according to its use. In working areas we use task lighting, in dining and mood areas ambient lighting and to create the wow factor we use feature or statement lighting. It’s important to concentrate on all three and consider dimmable solutions for even more flexibility.

Using coloured LED strips along the pelmets of wall units and beneath base units adds a fantastic variation of colour and mood, in addition the clever use of LED strips below an island unit will make it appear to float, this is a feature of NSI design.
