Nicholas was approached following a presentation at Grand Designs Live and was asked to architecturally design the interior of a four bedroom house.
The brief was to turn a dated unmodernised 70's Georgian style home into a colourful retreat for entertaining and relaxing. Ounal, of Indian descent, wanted a colourful "palace" echoing her culture, plush but simple in layout.
ADDED RICHNESS OF OUNAL'S CULTURE
Structural changes allowed us to create a large open plan kitchen diner, luxury double reception and three bedrooms fully fitted with en suites.
Fully fitted wardrobes with bespoke Xyloclef doors, Jab fabrics, flooring and sparkle mirror, were complemented by a luxury stone clad bathroom and underfloor heating.
