ABBEYVILLE
ROAD

During the first Lockdown a front line doctor contacted me with a view to furnishing and decorating her new apartment. It was a small two -bedroomed open plan rental apartment without furnishingings. Her budget was low and under these circumstances I took on this project to help her move in without any extra burden. In the fashionable district of Abbeville Village, Clapham it was a distinctive development by the now late Martin Skinner known for his affordable housing.

LIGHT & DEPTH

The bedroom was to be a relaxing room for sleeping only.

A hand painted mural was created for the bed wall and double layered curtains for privacy and elegance. Bedside tables from Robert Langford and lights from RV Astley created an easy elegance. The Milano Crystal light from Illuminati was the focus in the room and fed the walls with muted light and depth.

TEAK ROOT TABLE

The open plan living room required little furniture.

A sofa chaise from Sofa.com and a teak root table imported from Thailand comfortably filled the space without cluttering.

A Flos Arco floor lamp lit the coffee table and took little floor room, but was a distinctive design focus.
