The latest project in
Dubai involved moving the family from one house in Jumeira with
staff quarters and offices to a new Villa in an excusive new gated
development in Emirate Hills. A private built property based on Feng
Shui principals for the owner it is surrounded by water and green
hills, alongside neighbours such as the Iranian Royal Family,
members of the UAE Royal families and international celebrities,
more exclusive than the much heralded Palm. The move had to be
completed within 6 weeks.
With the house being a shell, and Dubai being Dubai, everything
happens at great speed, from internal construction, decorating,
curtain making and furniture ordering there is no place like it on
Earth for speed and delivery. High standards and precision coupled
with a 24 hour working day it very quickly came together, with
deliveries into the night and curtains made and hung within 3 days,
furniture delivered in under a week, and carpets fitted the next day,
the project very quickly took shape.

| Attention to detail is
very important with so much happening, but our team of people
employed to work on site ensured that our project management and
design integrity was not compromised. Whilst we thankfully don't
have to work on such tight deadlines here in the UK, we are able to
provide the same level of service anywhere in the world, whether its
a 10 bedroom Villa, or a single room. We didn't work all the time
though as our Hosts invited us to a variety of receptions and
private parties in The Burj Al Arab, with stars from Hollywood to
Bollywood as well as members of the Royal Family.
A lecture at the Zsabist University to over 200 people on our
particular style of Design was a last minute request prior to
our departure with an invitation to travel to Pakistan later in the
year. |
